SEPANG- The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB)
expands its regional network with the launch of its direct twice weekly service from
Kuala Lumpur to Cebu.
CEB starts its Tuesday, Saturday service from Cebu to Kuala Lumpur on December 8,
2012. The maiden flight will leave Cebu at 4:45pm, and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at
8:10pm. The return flight will depart Cebu at 8:55pm, and will arrive at 12:20am the
next day.
Lowest year-‐round fares for this route start at MYR 395.
CEB already operates approximately 25 weekly flights from Cebu to Seoul (Incheon),
Pusan, Hong Kong and Singapore. On December 9, 2012, CEB will also launch twice
weekly flights from Cebu to Bangkok.
“Cebu is internationally renowned for its colorful festivals, diverse marine life,
pristine beaches and rich history. We are very happy to offer travelers from Malaysia
even more opportunities to visit Cebu, especially with our trademark lowest fares
and direct flights,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

Sending off CEB’s first passengers from Kuala Lumpur to Cebu are Philippine
Ambassador to Malaysia His Excellency Jose Eduardo Malaya, and government and
tourism partners.

expressed his delight with the new service by Cebu Pacific, “Malaysia Airports is

CEB also flies from Kuala Lumpur to Manila daily, and from Kota Kinabalu to Manila
thrice weekly.
